in Honor of
World Labyrinth Day!
Denny Park Labyrinth
by Jackie Roberts
This Sunday, 5/4, we’re walking together in honor of World Labyrinth Day! Join us!
Thanks to all of you who participated in our Labyrinth Walk on 4/6. There will be more opportunities to walk the Labyrinth on the first Sunday of every month. Also you can walk the labyrinth on your own. We are planning more ways to include the labyrinth in our spiritual practices. Thanks to those who signed up to become more involved. Want more info or get involved? Email Jackie Roberts.
World Labyrinth Day
…is Saturday, 5/3! It is a day of reflection, connection, and collective intention. Since 1998, people around the world have gathered on the first Saturday in May to walk labyrinths as a moving meditation for healing, peace, and reflection as a part of the global Walk as One at 1 intentional peace movement.
CSL Seattle, with Mary Ellen Johnson, hosts a local Walk as One at 1.
The World-Wide Labyrinth Locator!
Traveling somewhere this summer? Check and see if there’s a labyrinth where you’re headed to insert a little reflection to your vacation!
Sacred Spaces:
Do you value urban green spaces? Do you want more soul-nourishment in community planning? This cool non-profit, Nature Sacred, does too! They are creating a network of sacred spaces in urban areas supporting well-being and community nourishment with “public green spaces that offer a temporary place of sanctuary, encourage reflection, provide solace, and engender peace and well-being.”
Nature Sacred featured the Denny Park Labyrinth backstory with our own Jackie Roberts, in their blog in 2014!
