Voice Clinic with Erin McGaughan
Voice Clinic with Erin McGaughan – FREE
Celebrating SU’s 2025 theme “Voices of the Divine” — bring your voice questions of any and every kind to our Worship Arts Director.
Questions like:
- Why does my speaking voice shake so badly when I get nervous?
- I want to sing harmonies, how do I do that?
- Why does my singing range feel so much smaller than it used to?
- Am I an alto, or a tenor, or what?
- Why does my voice crack above a certain note?
- How do I deal with a microphone?
- Does that throat spray really work? Or that special tea?
- How do I get better at singing riffs and fancy runs?
- How do I just feel better about the sound of my voice?
Erin can address any query, giving each student their most-appropriate “next steps”. There will also be group exercises and techniques that benefit anyone – speakers or singers. So even if you have no specific questions, this clinic will let you use your voice and make some noise.
