Our test-run sing-a-long session for vaxxed folks was delicious! We’re doing another on Sunday July 11th. If you’ve already sent Erin a photo of your vax card, awesome, just say you’re coming. If you were out of town or not fully vaxxed at that point, now’s your chance. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The Basics: It’s not a performance or rehearsal, just a get-together where we sing easy singalong-type things, for the joy of feeling the real time, real live harmonies.

Location: Our regular temp venue, Metropolist, 2931 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134

Date: Sunday, July 11th, at around 11:00 – or whenever the folks clear out from the service. Done by 1 pm.

More Details:

1.  Entry is ONLY by pre-registration with me. To register, reply to me directly by July 7^th.   erinm@seattleunity.org

2.   This is a vaccinated-only event, so if you say yes, I need you to email me a pic of your vax card – unless you already did that for the last one.

3.If you’re not fully vaxxed by July 11th, OR if you’re not comfy sending me the pic, don’t worry, we’ll do another event in August, when we expect all services and events to be fully mask-optional, no vax required.

4. If you are vaxxed but still want to wear your mask to this event, totally fine. Baby steps. I thought I’d be nervous about being naked-faced last time, and was surprised how easy it was, but go at your own pace.

5. Last time we sang songs like these:  Lean on Me, God Has Smiled on Me, Jacob’s Ladder, We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest, I Am As God Created Me, You Deserve It, Katriel’s Niggun, My God is So Good to Me, Yes God, Joy Joy I Still Got Joy.

6. But then we also did requests, and some improvisation, it was so delightful.  Got a song to request?

7. Yes, you can bring a hand drum, percussion or a guitar if you’d like to. I won’t have an accompanist, just us and a synth.

8. No singing experience is required, no reading required, just a desire to enjoy the voices!
