Community Trek: Beautiful Southworth Plus Picnic!

Date and Time: Saturday, September 11, 2021 - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Terry Loving shows off the best of Southworth on a beautiful route that starts straight off the Fauntleroy Ferry!

This 4-5 mile trek is somewhere between a walk and a hike – mostly level with one bit of a challenging hill – a walk with a challenge, or a pretty relaxed hike.

Our round-trip route also includes a rural road along the water, a bit of nice green forest, a lovely beach, a picnic lunch, and a pier and a coffee shop.

Contact Terry to join. Put SEATTLE UNITY HIKE in the subject line so I don’t miss your email!

WHEN: Saturday, 9-11. (NOTE: This is a change from what is posted as 10:10 ferry- there isn’t one.)
WALK ON: to the 10:05 Ferry to Southworth from the Fauntleroy dock. I will meet you at Southworth at the bus stop after you walk off. (Do NOT Get off at Vashon, you will miss the walk.)
Parking in the Fauntleroy neighborhood is a challenge, so allow plenty of time.
Tickets are purchased on the Fauntleroy side only. (Use your Orca cards and get your Senior discounts!)
Driving on the ferry is not recommended as wait lines on weekends are unpredictable.
Terry will meet you on the Southworth side.
