Compassionate Listening Circles
Meets the 1st Sunday of each month, 11:30a – 1:00p, in the Youth and Family Room on L1.
Looking for a safe, sacred container to share what is on your heart – whether it is grief or a recent loss, a challenge you are facing? Having heart-centered companions on our human-spiritual journey is one of the greatest gifts of being in spiritual community. We are starting Compassionate Listening Circles to offer these kinds of sacred spaces.
What these circles are not, is group therapy or places to give advice. It is truly about speaking from your personal experience about what’s happening in your life currently, and holding sacred space and being a witness to our individual and collective journeys.
The first Compassionate Listening Circle will be Sunday, 8/23 from 11:30a – 1:00p, gathering in the Youth and Family Room on L1. Following this first gathering, it will be a recurring opportunity on the first Sunday of each month. We are grateful for our facilitators: Patricia Flores, Donna Hutchinson, and Kathleen Bohlken who all bring a depth of experience facilitating and holding sacred spaces in circles of community.
