Important Congregant Voting Updates
Thank you, everyone, who participated in our VOTE postcard project. We completed 1,500 postcards to Ohio and Texas because you pitched in by writing cards and/or contributing cash/stamps. Your effort can make the difference in a close vote – good work!
|
The Risers recently voted by consensus to stand for NO on state ballot initiatives IL26-001 and IL26-638. Please see columns by Marcia Rutan and Mitch Hunter in this newsletter and also No Hate in Washington State for more information. This affects our community! |
Please vote early and use a drop box. If you must mail your ballot, send it at least a week early to ensure your vote is counted. Unfortunately, there are currently challenges to our democratic process, so using these safeguards ensures your voice is heard. More information here. |
If you want to be added to the Riser mailing list for timely updates, please email Marcia Rutan at marciarutan@gmail.com.
