Guest speaker Imam Jamal Rahman used a wide variety of stories and poetry to illuminate ways to shift “knowledge of the tongue” to “knowledge of the hear”t. Drawing from Rumi, Hafez, Rabindranath Tagore, the Koran, Ramakrishna, the Buddha, the Mullah, Thich Nhat Hanh, and his own life’s experiences, he touched on a number of spiritual truths that resonate in the heart and soul.
In this delightful and insightful talk, there is truly a personal gift of wisdom for each individual who listens to it.
Our wonderfully talented Home Team, led by Erin McGaughan, brought musical illustration to the morning.
