The Seattle Unity building, designed by world-renowned architects Olson Kundig, is located in the heart of South Lake Union overlooking Denny Park and is now open for Business Events, Weddings, and Celebrations. The inviting and contemporary design with clean lines, straightforward functional solutions, and interplay of light and warm materials serves as a beautiful canvas for business events and celebrations.

Venue Highlights
The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is a large event space perfect for ceremonies and services, providing a sense of warmth and peace through wood finishes, lantern lighting features, and an abundance of natural light.
The space connects guests to the natural landscape outside with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the trees of Denny Park.
The Sanctuary also features an adjacent Meditation Hall, a place of serenity and reflection featuring curved walls inlaid with glass bricks and a dramatic overhead skylight, the space fills with soft light and glowing accents that foster a sense of meditative tranquility.
Unity Reception Hall
Unity Hall is an ideal event space for business meetings, workshops, and receptions, featuring an open catering kitchen and large windows throughout. The space includes a third-floor south-facing terrace with views of the Space Needle and Denny Park, making it a pleasant location to observe the changing seasons and the city beyond.
Conference Room

The first level conference room at Seattle Unity serves as an ideal meeting location for small groups. The space offers AV for presentations, and access to a private courtyard perfect for taking breaks or bringing a meeting outdoors in pleasant weather.

In addition to ample street parking, Seattle Unity has 40 dedicated parking spaces in the underground garage, accessed in the alley between 8th Ave N and 9th Ave N. A handicap space is available near Seattle Unity’s elevator in the underground parking garage. There is also parking available in several nearby lots.
There is a van-accessible loading zone at the main entrance on 8th Ave N and a van-accessible parking spot in the garage near Seattle Unity’s elevator. Access to the garage is off the alley between 8th Ave N and 9th Ave N.
Seattle Unity values our environment and we believe it is our duty to protect it to the best of our ability. The building features bioretention planters in the courtyard and operable windows for natural ventilation. The building also repurposes many materials and fixtures from our previous building.
Yes, there is an elevator from the parking garage to Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the building.

Yes, there is a full kitchen with commercial stove, oven, dishwasher, and warming oven. A food buffet serving area is located between the Kitchen and Unity Hall.
Yes, Seattle Unity has ministers that would be happy to discuss your wedding ceremony.
On Level 1 there is one each of men’s, women’s, and family restrooms, which are all handicap accessible. On Level 2 and on Level 3 there are four gender neutral restrooms and one family restroom, also wheelchair accessible.
Yes, we have a separate wifi network specifically for event vendors such as photographers and videographers.
No, smoking is not allowed on the premises. All smoking must take place 25 feet from the building’s entrances, exits, and open windows.
