General Update 

  • We are awaiting the County’s decision regarding our property tax exemption.
  • SIP has approved our handicap accessibility re-design. A new concrete contractor is coordinating with the city.
  • The Board is developing a new employment contract for Rev. Diane.
  • Development of staff performance measurements are being undertaken by the co-ministers.

 

Financial Report

Financial performance continues to trend in the right direction; here are the highlights:

  • Total expenses are $15.3K under budget year-to-date.
  • Revenue from tithes, rentals, and other sources exceeded projections by $6.8K.
  • Rentals continue to grow, driven by repeat customers, weddings, and non-profit events.
  • Tithe income is tracking at 86% of budget
  • The year-to-date net loss is $22.1K better than budgeted.
  • We continue to grow our relationships with organizations returning as rentals.

 

Growing Our Future – Legacy Giving Program Coming

A subcommittee of the Board members and congregants led by George Edwards is developing a campaign designed to nurture the long-term vitality of our spiritual home by growing our endowment fund.  Legacy gifts are future donations made through will, trust, IRA, life insurance or other assets. Have you thought about what legacy you would like to leave?

  • Oktoberfest Party is scheduled for October 11, 2025. There will be volunteer opportunities. team.
  • The quarterly Board & Congregants’ Meeting (Q&A) is scheduled for June 8, 2025.
  • New Year’s Eve / Rev. Karen’s Retirement Party to celebrate Karen and usher in new beginnings.
