Join us for the Seattle Unity Annual Picnic at Jefferson Park
Lets have some fun! We’ve been working hard through this transition and we all deserve a time of community and fun and relaxations. Lets do it!
Date: July 7th
Time: Right after the service
Location: JEFFERSON PARK –
This is a community picnic – so bring a great dish to share.
- We will have the use of a shelter (#3) and there will be a few tables for food to be placed on.
- Please bring your own picnic chairs, blankets etc and any other picnic gear you wish to make it comfortable and enjoyable for you and your party.
- Unity will supply utensils, plates and napkins
This is not going to be a Seattle Unity sponsored event so there will not be a clean up crew or volunteers packing and lifting and carrying supplies etc. We need your support to make this a true community event so think of the things you would normally bring to a picnic.
GETTING TO JEFFERSON PARK:

About Jefferson Park
Jefferson Park, the sixth largest park in the city, offers unparalleled views of the Duwamish River, the city and the Olympic Mountains. The Olmsted inspired path system flanked by trees offers a wonderful respite from city life along with many active opportunities. The covering of the reservoirs and two voter-approved Park levies transformed the park into a great community gathering place for southeast Seattle. It is the home to the Jefferson Park Golf Course, the Jefferson Community Center, Jefferson Lawn Bowling, Jefferson Skatepark and Beacon Mountain.
