Blessing and Communion Service from 7pm
Matthew 22: 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Based on the above scripture, we will follow in the footsteps of Jesus who washed the feet of the disciples. He did this to demonstrate that we should love and serve one another. In this service, we follow his example by blessing each other with sacred oil. The anointing will be followed with a communion service. This is a sacred time of surrendering to the Presence of God and serving and blessing others.
Facilitated by: Rev. Karen Lindvig and Seattle Unity’s Prayer Chaplains.
