This month we recognize Rain Gamble, attending college in Durango, CO.

My name is Rain Gamble.  I grew up going to Seattle Unity and recently moved to Colorado to attend Fort Lewis College. I am majoring in Accounting. Learning is one of my favorite things in life, so I am excited to be here! Being around Native people like myself has been lovely. Living on my own for the first time has been refreshing since I have worked towards it for a long time. I talk to my family and friends on the phone often. My Mom, Rose Ramm, is an amazing help with writing essays! I feel so lucky to be supported in my college education by my community.
