http://seattleunity.org—In this sermon, Rev. Karen honors the importance of the Divine Masculine on the journey of men and women on their Soul Treks. She described some of the typical qualities and archetypes of the Divine Masculine. And she links the story of Abraham, as an example of the Divine Masculine, with the story of Richard Martinez who spoke out about preventing more mass shootings after his son was murdered in a mass shooting. Then Karen related the Divine Masculine to the Soul Trek theme by using the Star Trek character Jean-Luc Picard as an exemplary embodiment of the Divine Masculine. Karen offers her call to action.

Genesis 12:1-2  The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing…and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek Next Generation: “Things are only impossible until they’re not.”

Richard Martinez: “When will this insanity stop? When will enough people say, stop this madness, we don’t have to live like this? Too many have died. We should say to ourselves — not one more.”

1. June is the month of graduations, weddings and long days. Take the time to celebrate the achievements of your kids, your friends, family — and you.

2. We are receiving a CALL TO ACTION by the events that are unfolding in the world. What is yours to do?

3. Employ the qualities of the Divine Masculine: logic, strength, power, vision, protection and action. These qualities give us the courage and patience to make the world a better place.
