Sunday Service Podcast April 16, 2017 – “Breaking Through”

In this Easter talk, Rev. Karen spoke of crucifixion and resurrection as experiences we face many times in our own lives – whether from catastrophic events, or from celebrations the net effect is that we are, at our core, deeply changed.

She quoted Leonard Cohen, in describing our brokenness, our cracks, as how the light gets in, talked of shamanic openings leading to the new self, and of Martha Beck’s concept of the ripple effect of change.

Delightful musical accompaniment was provided by the glorious Easter Choir under the baton of Matt Corey, with special guests Rafe Pearlman and Darrius Willrich.
