Title: Auld Lang Syne
http://seattleunity.org—In this Sunday sermon titled “Auld Lang Syne“ Rev. Karen Lindvig elaborates on the Annual Theme of the Transformational Journey. She does this by using the ceremony of the Burning Bowl, Karen’s sermon helps members of the Seattle Unity Spiritual Community to review our individual lives in 2017; to become aware of mistakes, errors and problematic decisions; and to let them go while learning from them. Karen guides the spiritual community through a meditation that looks back on the year, learning from the past, and to look forward to next year, hoping and creating for the future. She uses the idea from the 1788 Robert Burns poem and song “Auld Lang Syne” to signify literally “old long since,” or translated, “long long ago,” in reference to the days gone by in 2017.
