I am very excited to present the Seattle Unity Women’s Fall Retreat at IslandWood on Bainbridge Island, Friday evening, October 6 – Sunday noon, October 8.
IslandWood is a beautiful environmental learning-center campus on a 255-acre nature preserve that is just a ten-minute drive from the Bainbridge ferry terminal. You’ll find every detail about IslandWood exquisitely designed. The organic food is outstanding. The rooms in our lodge are spacious and comfortable with an attached cozy great room too. The forested grounds are lush and filled with trails and activities for lots of outdoor enjoyment.

Has the current political discourse and divide left you fearful, frustrated, angry, even feeling hopeless and powerless? The truth is that challenging times are a unique opportunity to create Gracious Space within and around ourselves.
Come with your worries and concerns. Get enriched with Gracious Space.
Leave with a sense of calm, a feeling of deep connection or renewed energy to change your world!
Principal presenter Patricia Hughes will lead us in Creating Gracious Space in Changing Times. Patricia is with Trillium Consulting and the Center for Ethical Leadership. She is the author of Gracious Space: A Practical Guide for Working Better Together.
Patricia is a highly experienced leadership development consultant, TEDx speaker, coach
and facilitator. Gracious Space is her powerful body of work that invites diverse opinions, deep listening and true connection.
Plus we have a Saturday evening concert and dancing with YAIMA
Sonic Architect Masaru Higasa and Folk Lyricist and Storyteller Pepper Proud are YAIMA –
“that which water runs through.” Their music is mystical and magical with rich instrumentation, compelling rhythms and hauntingly beautiful vocalizations. Those of you who were at last year’s retreat can attest to this!
And much more!
Includes a two-night, double occupancy stay in a deluxe lodge with private bath and shower, beautiful great room with fireplace and patio, five delicious, organic meals and all workshops and activities.
Ichthyology Lodge has 16 rooms on two floors with 2 bunks. We are planning on using the 2 bottom beds. If we go over 32 participants, the top bunks can be used for those who are willing and able!
