Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
Visiting for the First Time?
Visiting a club is an exciting first step in reaching your goals. There’s no need to feel pressure to participate at your first club meeting – you can simply observe if you wish. And since every club is unique, it’s OK to visit several clubs before you decide to join the right club for you. Have a great first meeting!
Do you find it difficult to speak up in meetings at work? Does your profession require you to give dreaded oral presentations? Do you have trouble with organizing your thoughts, speaking concisely in an engaging manner? Perhaps you feel your knees quivering and your palms sweating at the prospect of giving a toast (or a roast) at your best friend’s wedding?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you are invited to visit Freely Speaking Toastmasters (FSTM). We are an organization dedicated to improving public speaking skills and building confidence. These skills have many valuable applications both personally and professionally.
FSTM was founded in 1988. We are one of thousands of branch clubs of Toastmasters International. FSTM is an LGBT focused Seattle area club, with membership open to all. We have a friendly and very diverse membership comprising all orientations, sexes, ages and races.
